Engaging Employee Resource Groups and Managers Remotely

There are so many important parties that play a role in making your DEI program successful, especially your Employee Resource Groups (ERG) and Managers. Here are some ways you can continue to keep them engaged while working remotely.

Continue ERG and DEI Council Meetings: If possible, try and keep routine with your DEI check-ins. Maybe consider adding Remote DEI Programs and Strategies as an agenda item.

Run training sessions remotely: If you have hired an external trainer to do training in person, before you cancel, reach out and see if they are willing and have materials to still run the sessions remotely. Not only does this keep you on track with your DEI programming, but it continues to support DEI trainers who might be seeing a negative impact to their business during these times.

Host ERG bonding time: Check out some amazing shows like Ugly Delicious on Netflix that explore different cultures through food, and watch it together online with the Netflix Party Chrome Extension!
